Cleaning the ariel..?

Postby gfalls » Wed Jan 28, 2009 11:43 pm

Finally got round to sorting out the electric ariel. Its been down 3 years. Surprised it came out to play at all. Thing is, its filthy. Whats the best way to clean it.?

I've used good'ol WD-40 on other cars in the past, but it seems that they get dirtier even quicker and then pack up. Manufacturers use a kind of graphite powder, I think.

Anyone got any thoughts..?

:?
