Rather silly...but then again I put an induction kit on my lawn mower
Now THAT is crazy - I love it!
in Denmark Lawnmower racing is pretty serious - a friend of mine was overtaken by a guy doing over 80kmph on his mower once..

Anyways - back on topic.
Dan I don't think you're gonna see any performance gains from an intercooler - but I'd like to be proven wrong..
..I thought your car came with one of those ARC chamber things?
If you want more power from the current unit I'd seriously consider NOS - but there are other things you can look at as well..Turbo'ing is possible - but costly..very very costly - as it's not a simple matter of sticking a turbo under the bonnet and hoping for the best - atleast not if you'd like to keep her running..
Or you could simply do an engine swap - apparently a VR4 unit fits - ish.. (do a search here and on the ftooc.co.uk I'm sure you'll find more info)
Personally - if I had the eurobobs at hand I'd look at optimising things like a lightened flywheel - fuel supply upgrades - gearbox ratios - proper light weight wheels, with diameter appropriate to need.(acceleration/top speed?) (if you don't already have them) - ecu upgrade to cope with fuel supply upgrades...but then different peeps do things different ways
If you do try the intercooler thing let's know how you get on..oh and keep in mind that if you add weight - you need to add even more power to make up for it..
