I'll put you out of your misery - in the boy racer world, a Colt Cyborg \ Mirage MR \ Mirage Asti R a is simply referred to as 'a MIVEC' or 'the MIVEC'. i.e.

'My bleedin' MIVEC will leave that VTEC for dust'

or

'Theres no way that EVO will beat a MIVEC off the line'

None of this is new news to you I assume. When we start calling a GPX or a GPvR a 'MIVEC', I start to worry!

Pics of Mustangs old 'MIVEC' here.

Ah, I have you now. To be fair, on an FTO forum, the first thing that should be thought of as a "MIVEC" would be a GPX, GP or GPVR!!

I'm with CJ here... a Mivec or [Moi-vek] is defo a Mitsubishi Colt - atleast around the Dublin(esque) area..

however the term "Driving with your Mivec out" refers to a driving style only encouraged on private roads/tracks.
