I've been speaking with Giles @ Japco with a view to getting a hold of a facelift bumber, while Giles dosn't generally supply to direct to Ireland, he would be willing to if the demand was there (which I think it is). Take a look at the e-mail thread below (from bottrom to top) to follow the discussion. Your feedback on this topic would be useful in terms of contributing towards the set up of a trade channel of sorts between Irish FTO owners and Japco.

Hi Giles
We do have problems sourcing parts here in Ireland, Irish FTO owners regularly order parts directly from
UK companies such as Camskill and U-Save Auto. I appreciate that the logistics of supplying certain parts directly to
Ireland can be cumbersome, however, there is definetely a market here if you were willing to sell into it. I will
post up a thread to the Irish Owners Forum to gauge interest levels and let you know the outcome.
From being involved with sources such as Smartgroups and J-cars over the years, we're very much aware that
you provide an excellent service. With that in mind we would be more than happy to deal with you on an ongoing basis.
Thanks
Ciaran

Hi Ciaran,
Second hand ones are very hard to come by but we are very soon going to be
stocking all new parts for the FTO at very reasonable prices with facelift
bumpers being about £290 (as opposed to the Mitsi price of £504).
We currently don't supply to Ireland but will do so if the demand is good
enough so any feed back is welcome. Do you think there will be a demand for
discounted new parts in Ireland?
Cheers
Giles
