Wanted asap HID bulb?

Postby karlf » Sun Feb 15, 2009 1:56 pm

I got HIDs in the new car (got it home today, WHOOO!!) but when I collected it one of the HIDs were blown. Chris(the seller) had tried to get one but the only place he knew he could get one was e-bay. With only 2 days for postage he didn't get it so knocked a few quid off the price instead. What I need is a bulb, anyone know where I can get one? (other than ebay as I dont have an account) Would a motor factors or halfords do them?

I checked the working bulb in the oyher ballast and it worked. So it must be the bulb gone. Can anyone tell me where to get one?

if you get a "kit" bulbs are normally included.. if you buy a Ballast bulbs aren't included... that's the norm anyways.

If you do have one going spare that would be great. I dont have an ebay account so cant get them off there. Let me know if its going and we can sort something out. Cheers

Finers dont know if this would interest you but the FTOOC have a conversion kit on sale in their shop. It is about €95 when you convert it. They are Kingwood if that mean anything to you.

What colour temp. do you have Karl?

I'd say most aftermarket kits would use 6 or 8K but OEM ones are more than likely 4.3K...
