Cheers Colm. I was sure that DE3A was just a chasis number and didn't mean that it was a different model, just needed confirmation before I go back to them. I am trying to explain they are all the same. I wish these companies actually new what they were on about, it would make the whole thing a lot easier.
I was trying to go with the cheaper quote but they have access to the garda/department of transport an the details matched to the cars reg on the system comes up as DE3A so they are saying a quote I got online as a GPX MI-VEC isn't valid as its not the right vehicle model. The DE3A comes up as being 1990cc and the GPX MI-Vec is down as 1999, they are classing them as 2 different models. Its all a pain in the bum really. I'm sick of having to be insured with Quinn Direct, roll on the days when AXA,Allianz,FBD etc are willing to quote me and I'm off.
