Something not quite right with this 99 FTO

Prefacelift GR.

€3500 plus VRT. looks pretty rough though. Id say that it's actually 94 or 95.

Check out the rust!

If it's in from England it might just have been registered in'99.
A lot of ads for English cars can be misleading.

well, there's no rear fog light on it. says just from Japan.

The car isn't VRT'd yet. It's unlikely enough that it was sitting around in Japan for years before it was registered though.

This sort of thing has happened before hasn't it? didn't a forum user here have a car that was actually older than the reg plate suggested?

close guys, I think the person in question got some money back from the garage he bought it from. ah well. not to worry!

I just get the feeling you'd buy the car, go to VRT it, then find out it's a 95.

Actually, yeah, I remember that one as well, it dragged on for a bit, but I think your right, he got some money off in the end.

Look closer at that ad. It also says its had 99 owners. That's an average of 10 a year, or 1 every 5 weeks. Busy FTO that is.. :D
