I would imagine the quote was "Sorry we cannot quote you online for this car, please ring......" or something along those lines.

It seems insurance companies are starting to get specific about mods - Axa were very specific in my renewal quote when mentioning ECU mapping, lowering, exhaust, induction kit, etc.

Ask anyone on here what's been done to their car and they'll give you a list.
What about the people who buy a car because they like the way it looks and might not necessarily know the mods... How do they stand with insurance?
Is ignorance a defence if something happens?

most will only accept 3 mods,
so like tints, alloys and an induction kit and you hit the limit.
