AH JD, you're never too old for an FTO! Best of luck with the sale, it will be sad to see a long time owner move to a 4-door family saloon!

Not sure yet Kace, but if I don't get off my ar&e and sell the FTO I'll just keep driving her forever, and the old bones just aren't up to it any more  Am going to go for somethimg big and luxurious for a while, will see in the new year.

We really want to keep the FTO but our 19 yr old is learning to drive and needs to 'borrow' one of the cars for college, so we'd never get him covered on the FTO and three cars aint an option at the moment.

Anyway Happy Christmal to everyone :smt111 . Will get more pics up during the week.

Added a few more pics below.

Time to let her go  . If anyone is looking for a really well looked after GR drop me a mail.

She is an original Navy blue Tip 95 GR with the following added or comments:

Beige interior - (Pic below)
White Indoglow dials
Deep chrome dial rings
Chrome dial surround
Integrated navy sunvisor in windscreen (part of the windscreen - not stuck on) - I think this really enhances the line of the roof! - (pic below)
Very classy trim on centre console
Oil changed every 3,000 miles (quick oil change release on the sump)
Tip Gearbox oil changes twice a year with Dextron III
Eagle F1 tyres, all with plenty of thread on original 16" alloys
Taxed to Feb 08
NCT to Nov 09
135k miles
Just fully serviced + all new brake pads + 6 Denso Iridium Plugs
Has all the other usual goodies, elec windows, air con, electric folding mirrors, sports seats, cd player etc.

Bodyworks in lovely nick, usual few stonechips on the front end.

I'm also including a brand new original, still in the box, mitsi full front spoiler, worth over €600 (bought it off one of the lads here, who had ordered the wrong type, just in case I ever needed it - thankfully I didn't).

I've owned her for over four years and have looked after her really well. I've really enjoyed her but am getting too old now to be in such a classy sports car!!!! All I can say is that she is a genuine car, doesn't give me a an ounce of trouble, and I'll be really sad to see her go.

I'm looking for €4150.

Got it in a group buy here (a little over a year ago I think ?). Was a lot of work to put on but well worth it.

SOLD!

In the end I couldn't get it through the NCT with the emmissions. I even bought a Cat (Second hand) and a new lambda sensor, Paul fitted them, and it still didn't pass. If I had the NCT I'd have sold it twice a week, I had so many enquiries.

The new buyer brought two mechanics up with him and they couldn't fault her, went over her with a fine tooth comb, but without an NCT I did have to let it go for a song (€3,400). Anyway I got five years driving a really class car for less than €520 a year depreciation, I certainly can't complain.

I'll certainly buy another FTO when our youngfella' gets his licence and gets a car of his own.

Seems like you got a good price all the same seeing as though you couldn't get the emissions lower. I wonder how the new owner is going to get around that one ?
