Finally did it...!

Took the back bumper off today. Straightened the metal bracket with a big big hammer. Heated the plastic and pushed it back into shape.Not 100% perfect, but its much less noticable. The feel good factor, knowing you did it yourself and probably saved a packet in labour costs....Happy days..! :D

good job G. i was working on the back bumper as well today. unfortunately my bracket was beyond repair :|

Fair play G, tis a good feeling to take a good piece of a panel off the car and be able to refit it with nothing missing or out of line. Gives good confidence for doing other pieces I think.

Hell' yeah..! Fits in with my tool box as well. A hammer & WD-40. If it moves and it shouldn't, hit it with the hammer. If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD-40... :lol:
