Is this repairable?

Postby karlf » Sat Mar 21, 2009 12:32 am

Just wondering how much work would be involved in fixing this. Would it be worth buying? It'll cost about £220 with P+P and what ever it will cost to fix it, is that reasonable. It is a Creative Sports which are about £700 to buy I was told.

My 2 cents:

I'd be inclined to stay away from fibreglass copies, they don't have the strenght of plastic and tend to shatter to bits pretty easily (as you can see from the pics above). As they're copies, the fit often isn't perfect and may need some work to get right i.e. increased labour cost for fitting.

Cheers lads. I wasn't sure it could be fixed at the part thats completely broken at the bottom thought it might be to far gone.
I am going to buy it. The Creative Sports is rare (as was pointed out in a previous post) so it'll be nice to have something different. The sideskirts on the car are Creative sports as well so it'd be nice to have it matching.
I know fibre glass isn't the the same quality as the plastic ones but the one on it is fibre glass so it'd be changing like for like.
I love the look of the Creative sports and I think its worth going for even if it is fibre glass.

Anyone have any opinions on the HKS Super Dragger?

Factor in the cost of getting indicators and fogs if they aren't included.
