Car stolen

Postby soc » Sat Feb 05, 2005 3:47 pm

Just got word that my bloody car was stolen - I'm out in italy right now and it seems some poxy little scroats broke into my folks house last night and stole the keys for my dad's car (volvo s80) and my car..... it really renews my hatred for thieving scum who live off the misery of others!! Thankfully no-one woke up and so no-one was hurt. Also glad I changed away from QD insurance.....

Very pissed off right now though, in fact I hope those scroats crash the cars and are maimed for life....

Damn, Sorry to hear that man! I'd be quite chipped as well.

Hope those guys die a horrible death, what do you reckon they'll do with it (and the volvo)? Here in SA they only steal cars for parts.

What model was it?

The police reckon they will probably be used a robbery - Volvo was an S80. Like you say, I hope they die a horrible and very painful death!

Would personally prefer that if my car was taken the scumbags would burn it out rather than strip it and abandon it. Its tough - but it is just a car - an insured car that can be replaced if necessary.

Good to hear none of your family was hurt. These type of incidents can go very wrong indeed.

That's bad news, do you want to give us the Reg Nos and we'll keep an eye out for them.

Cheers guys - no point in looking out for the reg - garda reckon the plates have been changed and cars shipped to UK or else they're in a lockup pending a robbery. Talked to insurance today and they said once forms are filled out and if they're confident car isn't going to turn up they'll settle quickly. So now it's back to the drawing board.... I'm gonna look at Golf's, TT's, S3's and Leon Cupra's.

Like you guys say, cars can be replaced so important thing is no-one was hurt!

LOL - yea, when I re-read it there is a certain deja-vu going on there - but still, I've an option on an S3 at the moment which a friend of the family is selling so if I can get everything sorted out with the insurance.......
