Ok guys I want to lower the car not sure where to go or what is the best springs to get to do the job ,Can some of you help with idea's. Would like to have it done before the show but Time is getting short so may not have its done going to the bodyshop as well to get it touch up , They tar all the road around my place over the summer if you could call it summer

Good to hear you are going to lower the FTO Elaine - it will dramatically improve the look of your FTO in particular.

I'm sure either Ricerocket or Camskill can help - BTW - now might be a good time to change the dampers as well - IMO it will help offset the harder ride of the lowered springs as the suspension will feel less "crashy" with something like the KYB's and Apex springs. Much better handling as well.

I stuck a set of KYB's and Apex on my last FTO and found them to be the best upgrade I made on the FTO.

I've Apex on mine, seem to be the way to go alright. They lower the front a bit more than the back, (45mm front 25mm back IIRC) which helps the look. As Mffto says, not a bad idea to do the shocks at the same time. When I was swapping mine I ended up breaking the top off one of the old back ones when taking the original spring off.

That said, a good professional (with the right tools) shouldn't have the same problem... :roll:
