I have posted a similar post on the UK site in a bit of fun and basically I am asking who members think will win the World Cup. For my money it will be the host nation and all out tactic merchants, (what we have we hold), Germany at around 8/1 or 9/1, I reckon they represent each way pundits a bit of value. Any opinions out there????

I reckon its very hard to look beyond Brazil... Ingerlund are a bit short up front (wtf is Theo "never played in the premiership" Walcott doing in the squad???) and defensively in midfield. Argentina are up there, I'd expect Holland to do better this time but not win... I'm really struggling to think of any teams that are outstanding at the moment.

I cant wait for the tournament, shame we wont be there but dont want to dwell on it!
It's quiet an open tournament, while Brazil are the team to beat, there is not much to choose from a whole bunch of other teams - Argentina, France, Holland, Germany, England (would we ever hear the end of it!!), Spain, Italy all have chances.....
Brazil wont be outclassed, but they just might be outplayed. They could lose in a boring game...
I'd fancy each way money on Germany and France....

CJ, I guess you will be a cert for the Lotto with that sort of luck. Not to worry
