they could all be copying off each other though!

You learn something new everyday.
It seems it does have an LSD - gearbox type - probably the same as the later day GPvR's.

Recognise this one off the UK FTO forum. Its had a lot of work and I personally like his colour scheme - I wouldn't change it.

Is the front bumper on the white one at a different level to the rest of the car or is it an illusion?

guys and gals i drive a tip gr and my brother drives a manual gr.on a rolling start my tip gr eats the manual gr but on a stop start he gets me im driving my fto 4 years now and i am very happy with the tip box.it has to be looked after with 15,000 km oil changes but well worth it.
as for the clutch thing well the tip box has a tourqe converter which can go(did on mine)other than that i have never had a problem with mine.

Sorry to dig this one up, but according to here, all the yellow editions were tiptronic. can anyone confirm this?
http://www.ftooc.org/?section=models

They also picture the yellow edition with a facelift bumper, which does dent their credibility on this claim slightly.

Two for sale here, one "face lift" the other not.

I know if I had one, I'd have left it alone.

one of them had a manual conversion. I'd be all for leaving a car that under 500 were produced as is, but it's a tasteful mod!

I agree lads. If less than 500 of anythign is made its just wrong to go and "mod" it... It's totally unique as is and should remain that way. but.... I have to say, the manual conversion one (1995) with the facelift bumper looks absolutely stunning!!!!!! I mean seriously stunning. Maybe its just me  but wow. 8)

Yip - Thats Dawns FTO - that FTO would be fairly well known (& well looked after) on the other side of the pond. She must have this FTO quite a while now.

If you like yellow on the outside and white on the inside, try one of these...
