Electrics down... now sorted

need a bit of help here .
Just noticed most of my electrics are down . (windows, stereo , air-con, wipers ) Checked the relays , fuses and connections and they all seem okay.
Lights , sunroof ,dash lights, signal lights are all working .


Can it be the ignition barrel? a short cut somewhere? did anyone had this problem before?

any help much appreciated

Seb, have you undertaken any work recently that may have disturbed wiring? Could be a dodgy earth...

took one of my tail lights out and repaired my central locking today, but i double , hell triple checked those things and they seem ok .

I can't be sure but I thought it was in the drivers footwell near the fusebox - don't quote me though.

The work you undertook must have triggered something, quadruple check

swapped a few relays and not a difference , took the plastic covers out from steering wheel and footwell and inspected all the wires and the alarm module.
Turns out a wire from the alarm was disconnected and hanging . plugged the wire back and all back to normal now. how that wire come loose is beyond me .
