Kei Racing ;)

The second pic illustrates a distinct lack of lowering springs....

Set of Apexs and new shocks would make a huge difference to the car, I'm sure Karl has it in hand though.

No they were on it when I bought the car. The ones on the gs were Lenso and were fairly similar to these, they were left on the car as two were broken when they stole it.

I only have the car 3 months give me some time and I will sort this out. Its on my to do list but there are a few things that have to be sorted first. We could all start pointing out what we think should be done on other peoples cars but that wouldn't be very nice would it? *Edit

Plastic strip on the edge of doors, usually seen on Nissan Tiidas or Toyota Yariss, Dragonheart has them on his car, has been slagged about them from day 1, and hasn't bowed to the pressure to take them off.
Different story now he's in Oz and threediamonds is driving his car.

I'd like to think people can point out things on other peoples cars (obviously being nasty isn't on) without the owner getting too upset. For example the fact that your car is visually so heavily modified yet hasn't been lowered means the height stands out all the more, the fact that the front shocks are gone makes the suspension higher again. I''m sure no harm was meant by any comments on your car.

Ah I see I thought it was something on my car.
I dont think the shocks are gone on my car. It went through the NCT and although it failed on emmisions and a steering rack gaitor there was no mention of shocks. Are they included in the NCT? And if they are gone would it fail on these?

I didn't take any offence from CJ's comment. I forgot to put in a smiley face to illustrate that I was joking (I'l edit it to save any more confusion.) I dont mind people telling me what could be done to make my car look a bit nicer/preform better. If it wasn't for people (Noel: my sis's fella) doing that my car would be in bits. He keeps me on top of the maintenance and bits that could be done to the car.

Yeah, it should show up a defective shock, the reason I thought there was an issue with your shocks was that at the Wexford meet, there was absolutely no give/bounce in the front suspension at all, you mentioned that it got a bit hoppy at high speeds, and it was sitting higher than even a car with original suspension would (even taking the bigger wheels into account)

As I said it passed the NCT so I assume it is ok (but there is no guarentee the NCT got it right I suppose, it wouldn't be the first time they got something wrong). I do remember you saying you thought it might be a bit suspect at the wexford meet alright. I'll bring it somewhere to get it checked and find out for definate. If it needs doing anyway it would be a good excuse to get it lowered.

New Zealand Colm not Oz..............
And yes, they are staying, in fact I'm thinking of getting them for my next one, :D
And the thing with modding as I've said before is uniqueness and individuality, now up hands who else has them??? See? Unique and individual. Just the way I like it.
Seriously I'd prob take them off in time, I went about looking at it one day and its not simple, they will more than likely pull the paintwork, thats why I dont want to do it.

My point wasn't directed at your car in particular btw, all FTOs need lowering as far as I'm concerned...
