can any one tell me if there is any real difference between a 96 and 97 ( except for the face lift fto gs or gr. i have been looking for 97 to import for the last month and half from ibcjapan and wondering am i just being fussy about having the '97

I'm not sure there'd be much of a difference with a manual but if you're looking at a tiptronic then you'd get 5 gears instead of 4 by going up a year...

No bother. what import site are you using. If you come across any 97 98 gs or gr's give us a shout getting restless at this stage. theres a 97 GP-R for sale on ibc all right
