Where'd you get the roofrack?

I remember helping a friend move house and we put the mattress on the roof, opened the windows and wrapped a rope around it and drove very slowly to her house.

I could be looking at getting a bike rack soon enough - does anybody know where I might find such lunacy?

(Ordered one of these the other day: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=13840 If you're buying bikes DONT do halfords they'll rip you off!)

Hey Muad,

I want to buy a bike as well... Just took a new job within Cycling distance so want to ditch the fatness!! Any recommendations as the last bike i owed was a CLaud Butler Kalami .... 10 years ago.

Crica 300 but maybe more if worth it.... not interested in flying down a mountain more so light.... smooth i.e fatness :)

Any ideas?

Thanks :)

I drove this mattress from Galway to Dublin. Didn't shift an inch the whole way, although I was limited to about 50mph or so just to be safe.
