Is this normal?

Ok,so i turn the key into 'On' but not starting the engine,just On,and the battery and oil pressure signals turn on,then i start the engine and the signals dissapear and all is normal and life is beautiful lol.Is this normal? What can be the issue if there is some?

I'm spanish,sorry if my english is so poor,i learned it at school when i was a kid and i forgot almost all of it lol

no1. manual GR 96 l no2. tip GR 95 l no3. manual Gpx 95 l no.4 manual Gpx 95 l no.5 manual Gpx 96 l no.6 tip GR 95 - in 2011 took a break from the FTO scene

I think he means that nearly every car on the planet does something like this - FTO is no different.
