brother told me of a fto 2 miles from family house lying up. so went to investigate after modello washout, reg no. 95 d 46527 steel silver, fto 2.0 v6, standard 16" alloys, new nct 2 weeks ago, 145000 kms on clock, not bad looking few minor marks on body but clean to the eye, but noticed tyres are crap, all cracked and small rusty spot under wheel arch on drivers side, makes me wonder how nct did'nt see these things, and if they did and still passed her, then wot else did they overlook.Guy said its from dublin area got as part payment for cash he was owed, does anyone reckonise reg? this fto has electric arieal and rear wiper on window also.

Any idea how much he's selling it for?
I think I know this car. it has 6 owners, and hasn't been NCT'd since 07 according to mywheels.ie

Might have gone to see it last year in Dublin.

hi colm, she's nct last thursday, i seen cert 01/2011, seen also it had 6 owners he's looking 2500, and will only go 1 or 2 hundred down............theres a momo steering wheel in the back, he took it off before nct as horn button broken

Also noticed the web site mywheels doesnt update to often, I taxed my car on the 3rd gone and it does'nt show its taxed yet

If he's not willing to negotiate on price you'd find a gpx with good tyres for very close to that figure.

I've heard rumours of the NCT boys being bribed to overlook certain things.

yeah i'd like a mivec manual, but since there not plentyfull i'd settle for a tip.........missus really likes fto's now and was thinking of selling her 05 hyundai coupe fx and getting fto......just having a look about online lastnight.

as for nct and possible bribes, i do know of one center that takes a (tip) if left on passenger seat, to over look small things.........yep sad but true
