It was only a matter of time!!

I smacked my front bumper off a curb this morning, given it's fibre glass it cracked yet again!! Oh the joys!

The curb was covered in snow, so completely invisable! I might just replace the bumper and be done with it, also just thinking of putting it through the insurance, I've a fully protected NCB....

Its a lovely bumper but that Nismo bumper is about as low a bumper as I've ever seen on a car - have you ever been inside a mulitstorey car-park in the Zed?

Are you planning on replacing with same or have you something else in mind?

Yeah tell me about it!! :(

I actually thought I ran over something in the road because I had absolutely no idea that curb was there!

I'm waiting on prices of a new front from Nissan themselves and I'll go from there....

I don't have any problems with speed bumps or anything, and there's a few around my way now, I've also been in a couple of multi storey car parks too so no major problems there!!
Just curbs and low walls!!! :x

I'll price the same from Nissan and then might consider some alternatives, might add some more bits to it while I'm at it, it's a pain in the a55 but it makes sense to do it all at the same time...

$hit Dave, sorry to hear that. I really like that bumper too, it'd be a real shame to lose it. But, if you think it might happen again. its hard to know..

I'm awaiting a quote to get it repaired again, after speaking to my body shop guy he thinks that it can be repaired and he will reinforce it so it should be stronger than before!!!!!!!

that kerb is gonna get it..tehehe..

Very lucky it can be fixed Dave, and good job nothing more serious happened,

There's cars strewn about in fields on the stretch of N2 between Ashbourne and Ardee., and they defo need more doing than their front bumpers.
