Yeah, great result.

I tuned in at the end of the first half and things weren't looking great... then 5 minutes later we were ahead :D

Close one right up to the final whistle. Lovely drop goal by O'Gara to clinch the deal great to see he's back on form, for a couple of games there was like he was wearin someone elses boots
The ref seemed to be favouing wales awarded some dodgey penalties against Ireland

Great match and result, but did anybody else think that Paul O'Connell deserved man of the match and not pretty boy O'Driscoll?? Makes me sick to read the papers this morning, 'we had bod on our side', what a heap of rubbish, there were 14 other players on that pitch and of all of them 'bod' was way down the list in man of the match terms!

Yip - what a day for Irish sport - JayVR on here looks after Bernards Dunnes diet & nutrition + help with training regime.

Congrats Bernard and Irish Rugby. Now all I need is for Munster to bring back home the Heineken Cup and my year will be complete.

I think only people in Munster will really appreciate that. We've all being calling for O Connell to captain the team but I dont think anyone can have any complaints about O Driscolls preformances in the last 2 games. As for man of the match, i think he was definatey in the mix but for me O Connell deserved it. Who cares though!! :D

I normally steer well clear of anything sports related - but on occasion I get caught up in the odd Hurling, GAA or Rugby match..used to dabble a bit in some boxing so if I see an interesting match I wont turn it off..

Only caught 2nd half of the rugby match..sweet jeebus that was a bit too exciting..I may have been slightly on the edge of the couch..I might even have punched the air a little... What a game..

Later on after determining there was sweet f.all on in the cinema and I didn't really feel like hitting the pub I spotted the end of all the prematch boxing chitterchatter & thought to myself..this dunne fella is supposed to be quite good..lets have a look..

Awesome Awesome Awesome - What a result.. so much work went into that match from both boxers..blood sweat and tears!
My only regret is that it wasn't stopped two punches sooner, but the ref was in a very tricky position. Had stopped the match it could have been disputed at a later stage.

BD certainly showed himself as a worthy champion, if he is able to keep that form he will be the champ for quite some time as well.

What a weekend alright. I think O'Gara's drop kick served up some sweet justice in the end, he was clearly targeted by the welsh earlier on.

And let not forget the Lee and Taylor earlier in the boxing, 2 other great performances.

Yes, Paul definitely deserved it. Bloody nail biting stuff to the last minute, and I hate rugby.

Taylor had a great run too - delighted for her, she obliterated the American girl!
