thinking of getting just the standard kyb shocks from camskill............wat i want is front springs,camskill is lowered spings which i do not want,where can i buy a new set of front springs for the fto................also these bump and stop covers,do they go over the springs or is the springs go over the covers.........are they worth buying?. cheers

In relation to shocks for FTO, just go to any motor factors and ask for the following KYB part numbers and see what prices you get.

Your standard spring are prob perfect just fit the shocks.

The bump and stop covers go on the top of the shock. Take a look at the workshop manual, should have it all in a handy diagram there.

Just go with the KYBs and maybe Eibachs - the FTO will sit better with very little difference in ride quality. The FTO sits way too high on standard springs.

If you need standard springs - you can have mine for free if you want to pick up in Clare or at an FTO meet.

I have the standard new FTO springs at home in a TEIN box. They came with my car when I imported it. They look new and unused so I would say whoever had the FTO put in the TEIN springs as soon as he got it.

I don't think GPvR springs (factory originals) can be used in a GR can they? Anyone?

Spring are all same fit back and front, they just have varios strengths, codes by colour dots on the springs.

Think again Dan, Springs and shocks are the same on all of them.
Bigger diameter anti roll bars and stronger links on the GPvr. Stiffer wishbone bushes.

and of course strut braces
