fiting aftermarket rev counter

hi all im new here and new to fto, my rev counter doesnt work so i thought be easier to buy a aftermarket one.
the problem i have i dont no were to wire the signal wire to. if someone has done it before could you let me no.

If you mean a whole new rev counter there are no wires. There are 2 electronic sections in the dash that the rev counter cups into. But if your talking about aftermarket dials just place them over the old dials and hook them up to the cigarette lighter wires.

I presume you took out the rev counter to see if it was a faulty connection and seem there are no wires!

Sounds like you're miles out stewy :-)

Try getting the original one working op. Have you made any attempt to?

Ignition Fail Sensor! I have the same problem... Camskill it :D or get one from a scrapped FTO :D

no i havent tried fixing it, alot quicker and cheaper to just put aftermarket one on and i it has a shift light with it. just need to no which wire from the ecu or coils i can get a picup from

SIgnal is from the IFS as stated above. It iwan easy fix, either the IFS is fooked or the gauge cluster. Both cheap items secondhand
