Hi i was just wondering is the nct a bit trickier for an fto with an auto gearbox than a manual?
anyone ere with a auto have trouble passing?

why would it be trickier? emissions on idle would be the same.

have an auto gx and failed on emmissions couple of weeks ago, chugged in a bottle of redex(halfords) injector cleaner into the tank and breezed thru the re-test! also made sure the engine was well warmed up going into the test! by the sounds of some of the other threads too emmissions seem to be the most common prob for nct!
