thanks :)

i was told that i could take it to 6500rmp when its fully mapped but go to 5500rpm at the moment? from the company that put the engine in? but if i can take it to 8000rpm thats good could any one get a pic up of thhe fto dials because ive still got the colt dials in.

Can't understand why you would be limited to 6.5k, the 6A12 FTO engine revs up to about 8.2k - above 5.5k is where the power band starts getting serious. Get your MIVEC out!

I tested mine on the way to work this morning.
Drove in with my mivec hanging out..

8400ish rpm is where the limiter kicks in - my dial has redline at about 8100rpm.

Wrouuuu-pedpedpedpedpedped-uuuuuuummm! ;-)

Show em your mivec - all the time ;-)

lol cool thanks for that from what i can see from that pic the 8rpm would be wher my 6500 rmp would be because i have got my colt dials in still? i will have to look in to this i bit further? i did see if ive got a limiter i went to 7600rmp on my colt dials :P but no limiter at that point?

my mivec comes in at about 6k rpm! havent been as brave a maud and gone ot the 8k yet....some day i will!!

i found out that my rev clock is wierd up rite so i did really do 7600 rmp a while ago :shock: i was well in the mivec :twisted: :wink:
