Couldn't care about the traffic - it's a fly-drive!! No way am I spending 12 hours each way in a lotus, the ar$e would be cut off me, not to mention perforated ear drums!

How much does it cost to rent a decent car for the ring?

A hardcore bunch on a road trip to the ring would be alright by me. I reckon it could be done reasonable enough - biggest cost would likely be fuel and tolls. Do a long weekend - Thursday to Monday spin. Someone want to come up with the figures?

i'm gonna work on the figures, I'd hope to have something faster than a diesel Avensis to bring with me otherwise I'd get flight.
