Great job, she looks amazing. Its a lot of work (I know from experience), but so worth it.
Aren't you glad now you didn't buy that polisher. The FTO is too curvy for it, and as I said, I usually just go with the old fashioned manual labour!

cant say im a bog fan of the claybar tho! i got one and didnt find it great at all! tried it a few times and i still dont see the fuss with them!

No. Autoglym intensive tar remover all the way. *nods* It'll ruin your clay bar too, so do that first.

no smart a$$ i used a clay bar!!!! maybe red just isnt a colour it shows results well on! anyone with dark coloured cars seem to think its the best thing since sliced bread!

Personally, I've got better results using a claybar on lighter colour cars. The main purpose of clay is to remove ingrained dirt and contaminents from the paintwork. I clayed Adrian steel silver GPX at one point a few years ago and I couldn't believe the amount of dirt stuck in the clearcoat (I had hand washed the car weekly for 2 years previous). I'll be claying Mrs CJs red GX at some point soon - I can actually see paint contamination in places (as opposed to clearcoat contamination - passion red is devoid of a clear coat, hence the tendancy to dull).

I was just thinking there... a suggestion to save money...

You get 2 claybars in a kit. I cut my first one into 3 and stuck the other 2 in seperate ziploc sandwich bags with a spray of detailer in each to stop it drying out. I know it may seem tiny, but I did the whole car with that little bit! Just keep turinig it over and over!
