I remember fitting an aftermarket( much cheaper) switch to one of my cars so it can be done

That was a first place where I looked and got a bit of a shock. Will probably have to go down that road, but if I also implement the "Front fog-light switch fix" it should be the first time and the last time I'm going to need to buy one.
Part sourced from brccrx, looks brand new, thanks again!
My fog lights are still not working though, I was silly/lazy and never bothered taking the old one out until yesterday, when I discovered that the block connector is burnt/melted too...
Went to the nearest auto electrician I know (Blanchardstown Auto Electrics) looking for the connector, and was told that they are part of the wiring loom. So I'm on the hunt again.
that connector is prone to burning because the fogs are wired direct and should really be going to a relay. there is a thread on the fix here. it will only burn out the switch again if u dont put in your own relay.
Anyone else got another one of these around? Mine has already been replaced some years ago and I have also done the relay job but it seems to be shot again.

You might be best converting the fog light switch to mirage/lancer/colt one, ive that done since a while and not even have relay, seems very different quality from the fto one!
