mods declared??

Postby miss-enzo » Thu Sep 04, 2008 11:18 pm

As a spin off from another thread where the question was asked "how many people have their mods delcared".

so have u mods declared in your insurance and if so what have you delcared and how did if affect your policy price wise?

i added brake alteration and suspension to my policy for a grand total of E78. (a little over 10% of my premium!)

Told them I had an induction kit. Can't remember what it added, under 100 I think.

any time i was asking for quotes, i was always asked were the mods declared....

on the civic, everything was declared, even down to the red mats inside the car, and NOTHING was added to my premium, and i told them EVERYTHING.

The rx on the other hand was a different story, my quote shot from 1300FC to 1981TPFT!

i went for the 1981TPFT with mods declared route, just to be safe.

It's only money at the end of the day!:)
