hey guys, just like to pick your brains for a sec if i may, have had my gpx for about four months and been on the road for not so many of them. few bits and bobs but when warm wont rev up or really drive that well at all.
the fault code is showing 64 with research found this to be alternator fr terminal. finding a mechanic round here damm not easy but have found a guy but i'm doing all the homework so would really appreciate any advice on fixing this prob, as in new alternator? or is there another way?

Sounds like alternator problem. Probably repaired incorectly thus disabling the MIVEC. Common problem with repaired 4 pin alts

thanks, but does this mean new alternator? it only happenes when warm and the car wont rev over 2500and
drives real jearky.
