Exhaust + Tracking

Postby RussMan » Fri Feb 23, 2007 12:28 pm

Hi There,

Need to get a little welding done on the flange of the pipe going into the backbox on the fto. Also need to get the tracking done - laser alignment today.

Any suggestions? I live in stepaside / sandyford area.

Well guys... ended up in Discount Tyres in Blanch... Long drive but well worth it! Was Chatting With Muad Dib and reminded me of the time he was out there and had to bail him out so... Thanks for the reminder... plus directions today :)

Got Tracking + Exhaust done reall quickly... Nice comfortable surroundings with Tea / Coffee.... TV comfy seats etc for 80 euro.

I had gone to Quick Fit in Goatstown and they were quoting me ... 90 euro for Exhaust and 70 for Tracking, so all in all well worth the Trip to DT's :)

Car is making a much healthier noise now and delighted!

Nice one. I was gonna recommend DTAS but didn't due to distance. Did you speak with Rob while you where there?

Glad u got sorted mate - and that you found it ;-)

DTAS have always been good to me - even when I've needed stuff done that they wouldn't usually undertake..

Oh and they're pretty good at removing rounded wheelnuts as well :-)

Good job you made it to the meet as well :-) even if it took some doing :smt023
