Had an "incident" the other day sitting in traffic.
Both windows down - 1 arm out the window.
Faith no more - Midlifecrisis blearing from the stereo
Passing a bus stop filled with kids going to school..

How sad did I look? - VERY!

My little "incident" Sitting in a long queue of traffic outside Carlow IT College. Four 18-19 year old chicks watching the car. One statrted waving then the rest joined in. I wind down my (tinted) window to wave back. Look of absolute horror on their faces and one shouts out "Nice car Grandad...!" I'm only 43. Rapid window wind up, fast exit.... Mortified...![/quote]

Priceless

Postby baldtyres » Wed Oct 11, 2006 10:33 am

Thats it - I'm off out to buy an MPV - not my fault I couldn't afford an FTO when I was 19 (fact is they did not exist when I was 19).
I'm turning into (turned into?) the person I would have called 'SAD' when I was a teen.

OH MY GOD! That's terrible - far far far worse than mine..

I'm turning 29 in 9days - am dreading it!

Sure you might say - 29 that's no age! You're only as old as you feel, and all that jazz..

I feel 200!!

On the bright side, now you can be a dirty old man as opposed to just dirty. :D

Dont know exactly but both of those reactions shows she cares!
That 'eyes up to heaven / I've heard it all before look' is just heartbreaking........I'd imagine.
