FTO Stolen

Postby quinda » Fri Feb 20, 2004 10:19 am

Just a heads up Guys. My GR was nicked on Wednesday night from Sutton. 95 D 44064. If anyone sees it joyriding around the Northside post a note here. Sliver GR, standard wheels, spoiler, no body kit.

Thanks
Dave

Sorry to hear that Dave. I hope the little s**ts die a slow and painful death!

Did you have a decent alarm? Where were you parked? What time (night or day)?

I might invest in a thick lock and chain to link through the steering wheel and the seat frame - not to mention a new alarm + tracker!

They got through an Alarm, immobiliser. Car was parked in an off road drive way. They got it between 1:30 am and 6:45 am

There seems to be a strong case for getting some security glass/film and delocking!

FTO Found

Postby quinda » Mon Feb 23, 2004 3:49 pm

Thanks for all the comments guys. FTO found in Donaghmede on Sunday morning. damage to front and rear bumper, both kick plates removed. Ignition, door locks and alarm all to be replaced. Frames around both side windows damaged and suspension in bits. About 5k AXA reckon so will probably be written off looking at current values for 95GR.
