Is it just me or is there a lot more spammers getting through the registration and putting posts up on this format of forum, unlike the last one that is. Theres seems to be a different one every day, just noticed one replied to 5 different topics in the for sale section, some pile of rubbish was written. Is it that they're getting smarter or something that the new style is missing thats letting them in?

This is an unavoidable problem on web forums, I've set the forum up so as spam bots can't auto join, spammers who undertake the process manually are more difficult to manage. Theres 2 ways this can be handled:
1. Delete the spam and ban the user as it happen.
2. Filter all new members through an admin function i.e. user cannot post until admin approves account.
I would rather not introduce option 2 at this point, spam is not a significant enough problem on this forum to warrant it.
