Rpm Clock fault??

Ok so when i was driving the Fto, its a 95 tip gpx, the rpm clock wasnt working... the speedo was though, and the lights for the gear selection where working too...
Any ideas?

Its not a connection loose in the back of the dials is it? Try taking it out and checking them.

interesting, i shall do in 2 months.. when i finally finish paying for it.. damn that sounds like a long time away... wish i could have it now!!

Ignition failure sensor. This will cause the tacho to stop working. Have had at least 10 members cars over here in Aus exhibit that problem and it turned out to be the ignition failure sensor

Is this expensive to fix? thanks for that ive been looking all over the interweb for full sure answer!

Well, I was buying them out of Japan for about $40 AUD, so no, not a fortune. If you can borrow someone elses to make sure it makes it easier. Just a 5 minute job. Its the little black unit just below and behind the radiator cap (MD374437)
