ive heard quinn have looked more into the fto . and catergorised it differently i checked the website and there seems to be a slight difference, my mate rang up for quote on a de3a, miss enzo had problem if im not mistaking, and they insured him no problem, 22 m no ncb full license, 1600. i know its steep but shows there were no problems, i had problems insuring my de3a last year, but now they are more...laid back ...about time

Sounds interesting, hopefully more companies will look into the FTO categorisation!
€1600 sounds excellent for 22 with no ncb! Make sure he reads the fine print though.

Just quoted me €773 for fully comp on a GPX Manual (value 7K).
Full no claims. 36yrs old.
Also quoted me similar for fully comp on my 350Z (value 30K).
Go figure!

Thats a sham allright! How in gods name can a 7 grand FTO be in the same class as a 30 grand Zed?
I remember getting quotes of Quinn a while back for a few cars....and they quoted me cheaper on an Evo 4 than a GPX! Tossers....

my quote of quinn was slightly over €1000. Third party though but still, GPvR, 22 m 1 year no claims... I seem to be doing quite well here...

I've tried often enough to get a quote from QD, never works.
Did we do something wrong George?

I'm with Quinn and I'm 21 no NCD and paying E2190. Had no problem getting insured except for the price
If this is true could it be possible for me to have my monthly payments reduced?

Woohoo so maybe my complaining all the time to quinn did some good!!! Score!!! Complaining and kicking up a stink really does work!!! whether i had summit to do with this quinn thing or not im glad they are getting the finger out and sorting the problem! i hope for their sake i dont encounter it again with my new renewal cause if i do there will be serious trouble for them!!!

You get to a point of no return when it comes to FTO insurance, especially with Quinn i.e. aulflas like MfFTO will pay the same as youngflas like me, for example

Never had an accident - never had a claim - Licence for 15years+ Living in Clare.
So I guess its just down to what Quinn are prepared to quote to a new customer online. I'm sure I'd get cheaper if I shopped around.
€700 odd Euro is actually alright on a 350Z for fully Comp.

Yeah sounds ok for the Z
But Quinn are fully comp on me for €560 (GPX) I guess its just down to the luck of the draw and weather or not they have had a row with the Mrs/Mr

Suprised you got such a good quote on the Z.
They load my premium 2K when i upgraded the Z in May. Come renewal they were offering 1900 after a heavy arguement. I subsequently went to 123 and told Quinn where to go. Managed to get all in for around 1380 - 50K value. The new Z is really a hard car to get quoted on, not many insurers out there willing to take the risk. 28 yrs old - 4 years NCB
Quinn Insurance

Just tried quinn there now for the crack and was quoted €592.14 for myself and the wife, both 34, with full clean licence.
and me as the main driver.
That is actually slightly cheaper that what we have already paid this year.
