Postby Uncle B » Tue May 04, 2010 3:31 pm

Hi guys,

I've a Cusco lower arm bar that I got off Brendan when I bought the car, I'm not sure where to fit it though pretty sure its for an automatic transmission?

Its the single bottom bar in the picture here

I'm fairly sure thats a rear brace, it connects to the rear camber bolts. The larger brace is used up front.

You'll struggle to fit a front underbody brace to an FTO with a tip gearbox, there are clearance issues IIRC. If you fit the rear bar, take note of the camber settings, otherwise you'll need to have it adjusted.

Cheers CJ, it has AT written on the package (amongst all the Japanese I can't read!) so that swayed me a bit!

Edit: Turns out it says "except AT" on it, so you're on the money

The front one clears the box and barely clears the pipes and it's a 10 min job to fit.
