Hello there, I have an FTO Arriving from Japan middle of September.

here are the Details and links to the Photos:

Red 1997 FTO GPX Facelift model (with version R rear spoiler)
Manual Transmition
2.0 litre V6 Mivec
35,000 Kilometers (around 18,000 miles)
Dual Airbags
ABS
Climate controled Air Con
Spotless interior and exterior( apart from 2 minor scratches on the lip)
1 non-smoking Japanese owner.

Holy sh1t, you don't get many spotless manual GPX facelifts with 18,000 miles on the clock every day of the week! What kinda price you looking for it??

€12000 on the road price.

This price will include Customes duty, VAT and VRT. I can register it in the Buyers name.

Go on Shane - you know you want to ! 12K for a low mileage GPX manual facelift - If I hadn't just spent €3.5K on sorting my manual GPX I'd be seriously tempted myself.

yea €12K sounds good but then I'd need leather, 17/18's, lowering, exhaust, induction kit, cosmetics (bulbs, indicators, dials, alloy pedals, gear knob etc., etc.).....

.... now I'm looking at more like €17K - my wife would kill me.

But who knows, if the leon doesn't work out..... :roll:

I take it a trade in is out of the question ?! Black Manual GR,17s, lowered, ind.kit, mint cond with 70kkms.

Hi all, thanks for the positive Feedback

Shane, since you are Interested in modyfing your FTO I have decided to advertise for sale the GPvR FTO I sourced for myself. This is arriving begining of september Here is the spec:

1997 Manual Facelift GP version R
2.0 litre V6 mivec
100,000kms
Lowered on fully adjustable suspention
double plate clutch
HKS air filter
Big bore stainless steel exhaust
Aftermarket GT spoiler ( original GPversion R spoiler avaialable)
Gold Alloys (I was planning to change these for white 17s)
Mini Disc player
Sub woofer in Boot
De-badged
Colour co-ordinated interior!-
Dial surround, centre console, and gear knob.(check out the photo)

If your not into these modifications: all the original parts are with the car (the photo with the boxes).

as you can see this is a rather special car. Im reluctent to sell it and have to go looking for another manual GPversion R for myself but If I was made an offer I couldent refuse..................
