Nah - to put down the power you'll need an LSD.
Remember the FTO is FWD - you won't need wider than an 8.5 inch rim and a 235 width tyre. Anything more will likely just upset the handling.

If you fit a wide arch kit that will mean having to fit really wide spacers - again not a good idea if performance and handling is what you are after.

Not the first. There is another GR turbo around. Might be the first GPX though, but only if it works. Remember other have tried and failed to TURBO the MIVEC engine.

Interesting project though. Who is doing the work for you?

Remember TURBO on a FWD vehicle without appropiate brakes, suspension, and some sort of traction control ====

blitz launch controle plugin is cheap as chips.... puch button activation wires right into the ecu.

@ sterole,

ill be fitting the kit along with a mate and as soon as its built well get her up on a trailer and get a tuning company to give it the once over before setting it up

well the ecu is mapped at the moment, so just running low boost when i get it all done.

im getting a sandwitch plate made, for the oilcooler, and oil temp/ pressure.

and iv a pipe to get made for the hardpiping, going to get the dumpvalve down near the bottom where the piping goes by the radiator, well away from the 7th injector

Any pics of the turbo in position dan? Will you need to wrap it or put shielding in place? Good luck with the rest of the work, so far so good.

HOw long do you think the standard internals are likely to last running boost. Defo going to need shilding there just to protect the fuse box if nothing else

then ill get the compression lowered and run up to 1bar

nope its not the same size first off so theres still the normal amou t of flow going to it.... and the FMIC lets the air flwo through it so its getting the airflow but slightly disturbed
