took my other fto for a mot on sat , the alternators ,not working,. started her up , 10 volts ..full blast to the mot station , watching the volts drop every second....it was like the clock off death :twisted:

8, then 6 then as i just pull up bang . death ....pan breed. wouldnt start .....so other batt in her and motd. although i had to recover on a trailer to get her home. . not a experience i want to repeat

So did you pass the MOT with the swapped battery and dead alternator ?
If so fair play to ya - did the tester get fired when his boss saw your car having to be trailered home :lol:

off course , they all do :lol:

as longs as all the lights ,horn etc worked, it was fine. parked it round the corner and returned on the sun with the trailer :lol:
