Gear box help

Hi

I have a GPX with an auto box, I have just replaced the gear box and TC with one of ebay. Plugged it all in today and filled it with fluid and tried to start the car. When I try to select a gear it makes a whining noise when you select all gears (maybe not neutral), the car will not start, the starter turns but it all seems to lock up.

I am now at a loss now, can any one help?
