Steel Silver match

Hi guys,
My sideskirts on my Steel Silver 95 GPX have the usual chips and some quite deep.As i mentioned in another post getting A34 in aerosol was proving quite difficult so i took it upon myself to buy three different silvers from Halfords to try and get a match with my paint.
I tested the three paints on plastic pieces and after 3 coats paint and 2 laquer i have found a great match to my paint.The paint is Mercedes brilliant silver and is around £6.95 a tin.The match is as good as it gets and i was very surprised by the closeness.

This post is just a bit of info i thought id share and i cannot say for sure that other members could get such a close match but it may help if you have a car with a similar ungaraged life that requires larger paintwork jobs.
Is there two versions of A34 also?..Craig.
