Changing Droplink Arms

Postby Wildhound » Thu Sep 13, 2007 4:13 pm

I'm going to change my droplinks and anti-roll bar bushes because I get an occasional knocking when going over potholes or small bumbs in the road and I have a feeling this hasn't been done on the car.

I noticed on Camskill that there's a specific set of rear droplinks for lowered cars, but there doesn't seem to be an equivolent for the front. Is this something I should be concerned about or do I just get the standard ones for the front?

Nobody? Suppose I'll just order them then and hope for the best.

Didn't answer cause I don't want to be seen hogging all the questions!

Just fit the lowered droplinks on rear and the uprated ones (think they are approx the same length) on the front.

I had previously thought that there was a lower version of the front droplink but apparently the ones Camskill and Ricerocket sell are almost same length - just uprated (beefier/stronger). It may be that the rear suspension suffers most stress from lowering the FTO and its not neccessary to significantly alter the length of the front droplinks.

If in doubt just ring Camskill/Rice Rocket direct.

Cheers for that!

I'll order them Monday morning. Got a very good price from Camskill (compared to Mitsubishi) but I'll have to ring Ricerocket aswell and see if they can do even better. ;)
