Cable for linkage

Have a problem with the linkage alright. I need a new cable or something and they told me they have to order it from Japan, wait 2 weeks for it and its going to cost 300 euro not including VAT or fitting costs... Seems like a lot for a cable. anyone know anywhere i might be able to get it cheaper or even sooner than waiting 2 weeks? Thanks
