I'd like to try get them for both years, at least then we'll have set the standard to improve on. If we are going to go down this road of pics and a vote etc we'd want to be getting a move on. It sounds too slow to me. Could we not use pics from previous meets for the 09' one? May not have the cars as up-to-date but at least we'll have something...

Agreed - there are 1000s of pictures of FTO Ireland FTOs - we shouldn't need another year to choose 12 good ones.

Pity you didn't wash it before taking the pics, we have standards you know!

That said, this is the sort of shot that would make for a calandar addition.

How about a competition for the cover, with a public vote?
Admin/Mods could then choose from the other entries for inclusion in the main part...

Sounds like a plan Bernard, I'd need a new front bumper though so I'm out of contention for 09 anyway! Heh unless there's an interor shot that is!

a good shot is a good shot is a good shot..

I'll set up a different thread so peeps can post their fave pics... let's keep it at 2 per snout so as not to get flooded..

Then in a week we'll do a vote off - how does that sound?

I reckon a nice FTO in a good location makes a great shot, like that great shot of CJ and Shanes cars by the water (cant remember when from).

Sounds like a great idea, and I'm presuming we can use it to put a few quid in the club kitty?
Yeah, I remember the pic Colm is on about, I'm sure its about somewhere. And Bernard had a nice one at sunset.
Looking forward to seeing these pics, should be good.

Guys, if you're posting pictures in a single thread, please try and keep the resolution small (i.e. 800 x 600), we're consistantly above our bandwidth allocation each month.

I'm thinking all pictures should be uploaded to Imageshack or a similar site where only a thumbnail is loaded on the site...

Might I also make a suggestion and mention that a bit of totty along with the FTO wouldn't be a bad thing either!

Woo, VERY nice pics. Pity you didn't get them in a few weeks back, but definitely put them forward for next year.
