No that is sold. My brother is swapping his quad (with only 70 kilometres on it) for that FTO, maybe today. I think he is mad, as the quad is only 2 years old, bought for approx 2k in Sweden and never used, because he never got a license. He had 2 of them, i sold one last year for €1700. He gave it to me, because I drove to sweden to collect the quads in a van and some other household stuff, when he was moving home. LONG DRIVE. The quad is 200cc, so if anyone has a better deal for him, I would be happy to hear back. He is tired of it sitting in his garage.

Woud he not sell it then buy the FTO. the way things are the car will still be there in a few weeks and your brother will have another for hundred in is pocket as well as the car.
If you what is true about the price he'd sell it for €900 straight away

He had it for sale last year for 1k on Gumtree. No interest and silly offers. At the time he was offered €800 and laughed at the guy on the phone, saying it was priced to be snatched. Now he is just sick of it lying up there. I keep telling him to auction it on ebay with a reserve of say, 600, but he just wants it gone now. Any other non mivec fto owners interested, let me know. It really is a cool quad. I will add a pic i took on friday.

My bro collected the 1.8 fto this evening. Looks ok...needs a little bit of tlc. Drivers seat leather is a little worse for wear. The mirrors are manual folding. I was wondering, I have spare folding mirrors. Would they be easy enough to wire up to his fto? He would need the switch too, but that would be easy enough to come by.

As he hasn't even got a provisional license, he will have many months to clean it up before he can even think of getting behind the wheel. He was grinning like a child with a years supply of chocolate when he got it.

He is like 33.....had cars before he moved to Sweden for like 8 years. License expired and he never renewed. His previous cars were pretty much scrap heap challenge stuff. Peugeot 309 i think and then a ford escort. Old bangers. The fto might be old, but it's no banger.
