Must have been while I was splittign the topic.

As I said, the only way to be sure is to check the model number on the bulkhead. I'd be surpised if someone dressed up another model as a GPvR although you couldn't rule it out.

thought i posted this comment earlier, oh well here goes, some GPvRs did have electric folding mirrors, as for changing the seats cos of cig burns ( bad move ) IMHO, it wud take a terrible amount of cig burn for most people to change those blue seats, also if i was that concerned about the seat, why downgrade to standard :o , sorry i dont buy this at all
where are the seats now?

If we had the chassis no we could tell you exactly which model it is and if it was fitted with HID's and what colour seats it had

Sorry CJ should have read the entire post first!!!

If ye are interested in the car phone the seller to find out more about the car. Its not mine as i said in the very first post. If ye are not interested in the car why bother posting anyway.

Its not that we're not interested Jamie, this is, after all, a discussion forum specific to FTOs, we're talking objectively, thats all! ;)

This is a For Sale thread on an FTO Discussion forum.
If you want to post anything FTO related you need to be aware that other FTO forum members are more than entitled to post their comments and opinions. If you look at all the other For Sale posts you will see that people will comment on the car or price or ask questions - its the nature of a discussion forum.

Its a free for sale ad - many would be of the opinion that this facility should be used by Forum members only - regardless of this - if you post about an FTO for sale - you need to be prepared to deal with the queries.

Id like to give the seller the benefit of the doubt here - I mean is anybody really going to go to all the trouble of trying to pass of a GPX as a GPvR? Why??

The most likely explanation about the seats would be that the GPvR ones were sold to another FTO owner some time during the cars lifetime, or kept when a previous owner upgraded to a newer FTO which came with standard seats. It happens...

I agree, it looks like a nice car but I still think it's a bit overpriced - that's what I'd expect to pay froma dealer with warranty, etc. Private sale I'd say more like 9.5K to 10k.
