Brembo pads.

Postby Bernard » Mon Sep 24, 2007 8:10 pm

This is probably a stupid question, but:
I need new set of front pads and was looking at these.
I was told that my brembos are from a Seat Leon cupra R so I presume these are the right pads...
The only concern is:
The DS2500 compound is designed for racing applications

Would there be any problem with these for normal road use given that they must be designed for high speed braking?

Race pads work properly only when they've warmed up, better off to get 'street' pads instead...

EDIT: Just spotted this:

High friction level at low temperature (good cold braking).

Reckon you should be fine with these pads.

The DS2500 pads come very highly recomended for the brembo brakes on the Zed from the 350Z owners club. I'll likely be changing my pads to these ones when the time comes.

Should suit your aftermarket Brembos to a tee - Bernard.
